Cuttlebone Raw Material
Cuttlebone is a byproduct generated during the processing of cuttlefish. Normally, this part is discarded, but at QHC Global, we make use of it by applying proper treatment to ensure reutilization instead of waste. Specifically, after procuring cuttlebone raw materials, we shape them, sun-dry them for dehydration, and then refine them to achieve optimal quality before shipping.
Shaping
We process cuttlebone into a uniform and well-shaped form according to the customer's requested shape and specifications. In this process, we remove irregular parts of the raw material and adjust it to the designated shape, ensuring product quality and optimizing it for its intended use.
Surface Treatment
By spraying a bleaching agent, we effectively remove foreign substances and impurities attached to the surface of the cuttlebone. This process helps maintain the cleanliness of the raw material and enhances the quality of the final product. Additionally, it ensures hygiene, providing a safe and high-quality cuttlebone suitable for its intended use.
Sun Drying
Sun drying is an energy-efficient and natural method that is environmentally friendly while effectively removing moisture and maintaining the quality of the cuttlebone.
Inspection
After drying, each cuttlebone is carefully inspected to ensure there are no cracks, dirt, or defects and that it meets the specified dimensions. This inspection guarantees that the product meets standards and ensures uniform quality.
Packing
During packaging, cushioning materials are placed under each layer to prevent cracking, and the cuttlebones are carefully arranged one by one. This method protects the product from impact during transportation, ensuring that it reaches customers in high-quality condition.
Storage and Shipping
After packaging, the products are stacked on pallets and wrapped with plastic film to prevent collapse and protect the cardboard from moisture. They are then securely fastened with bands. This process enhances stability during transportation and ensures the products are delivered safely.
