Raw Material
Typically, crab shells are discarded during seafood processing. However, at our company, we utilize them as high-quality raw materials instead of wasting them. Crab shells are rich in protein, calcium, and chitin, making them highly beneficial for use in fertilizers and animal feed.
By maximizing the use of marine resources, we contribute to waste reduction. Additionally, we collaborate with local fishermen to support sustainable fisheries and environmental conservation efforts.
Contaminant Removal
At QHC Global, we utilize both manual labor and automated sorting equipment to thoroughly remove impurities and foreign substances during the crab shell processing. This eliminates the risk of contamination, ensuring high-quality crab shells and guaranteeing the safety and reliability of the final product.
Mechanical Drying
The drying process of crab shells utilizes a rotary drum, where heated air evenly evaporates moisture. The continuous rotation of the drum ensures that the crab shells are consistently exposed to hot air, preventing uneven drying. The temperature is carefully controlled to avoid excessive heat that could compromise quality, maintaining it within an optimal range. After drying, the temperature and moisture levels are checked, and if necessary, additional drying is performed to achieve the ideal dried state.
Fine Grinding
After the crab shell raw materials have been properly dried, they are fed into a grinding machine and processed into the desired mesh size according to customer requirements.
Inspection
To ensure that the product maintains the appropriate temperature and moisture levels, each batch undergoes random sampling for temperature measurement and moisture content verification. At the same time, veterinary inspections are conducted to collect samples and confirm that no DNA from pigs, cows, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, or other animals is present. This process eliminates the risk of cross-contamination, ensuring that we deliver safe and high-quality products to our customers.
Packaging
After the inspection process is completed, the crab shell products are packaged in small bags or bulk bags (FIBC). Additionally, we can accommodate other packaging formats based on customer specifications. This ensures that the products are stored safely and delivered to customers according to their required specifications.
Storage & Shipment
The finished products are stored in the warehouse and categorized by lot to ensure a systematic and efficient export process. Maintaining quality control before container loading is a crucial step to facilitate smooth transportation to the port and seamless export procedures.
